Meeting a listed goal and owning a playable partner are separate states in this tool. Record your counts or completed conditions first, then mark Unlocked in my game only after the game confirms that partner. The tracker does not read your save or perform the unlock for you.
Start with the exact challenge, then confirm the unlock
Every card displays the English challenge description extracted for that partner. Some goals ask for a running count, some ask for a performance in a single run, and others name a location, difficulty or collection milestone. Read the whole sentence before planning an attempt. Similar-looking counters can describe very different work, especially when one condition is cumulative and another is tied to a single successful run.
A card’s progress bar measures the conditions recorded here. It is not an official eligibility response, a capture chance or a prediction of the time required. When all conditions are marked met, return to the game and follow any remaining unlock or capture step it presents. If the partner is not available yet, keep the checklist unmarked as unlocked until you have confirmed the outcome.
For context on what a partner offers after it becomes available, compare the PokéBonk tier list and the PokéBonk Pokédex. Those pages answer different questions: an editorial evaluation helps choose a direction, while the database describes the source records. Neither replaces the specific challenge listed on this page.
Record counts without mixing lifetime and single-run goals
For countable requirements, enter the count you have recorded from the game. Matching source counters are shared across cards, so updating a lifetime total can help you see progress toward several related partners. The tool does not automatically obtain those numbers or assume that every visible action has advanced them. If a counter is not shown clearly in your game interface, leave the value conservative and verify completion there.
A requirement explicitly naming a single run needs your best qualifying single-run result. Do not add several attempts together to fill that field. The interface highlights this distinction for counters identified as best-run values, while retaining the full challenge sentence above the input. That sentence remains the important guide when deciding which result to enter.
Discrete conditions use a Requirement met checkbox instead of presenting the client’s internal difficulty value as an ordinary count. This avoids asking you to interpret a hidden tier number as though it meant several wins. The checklist records the condition you confirmed; it does not infer a difficulty completion from an unrelated battle or from your total number of victories.
Your League size is also entered as a recorded counter when a challenge requires it. It is not silently replaced with the number of boxes you checked here, because your manual tracker may be incomplete. This separation lets you begin using the page halfway through your progression without recreating every historical unlock before the recommendations become useful.
Choose the next goal from your own progress
Your next goals to check places partners with every listed condition recorded as met first. It then compares the average completion of the remaining conditions, followed by the number of conditions still unfinished. A stable source ID breaks ties. This is a transparent planning shortcut based on your notes, not an official ranking of unlock difficulty.
A nearly complete counter can still take longer than a fresh goal with a favorable setup. Likewise, a goal requiring a partner or map you cannot access may be impractical despite its short description. Use the suggestions to notice opportunities, then choose based on your actual session. The tool deliberately avoids calling a small raw target automatically easier than a large target involving a different action.
With no progress entered, suggestions follow the simple tie-breaks described above. They become more informative as you add genuine counters and completed conditions. You can click a suggested name to filter directly to its card, inspect what is missing and decide whether the next attempt has a clear purpose. This is a useful answer to how to unlock Pokémon in PokéBonk without inventing a universal fastest route.
Early collection goals can support later milestones
Pidgey has this extracted requirement: Complete 4 runs (win or lose). Caterpie instead asks: Evolve 3 times during your runs. These descriptions illustrate why a session can advance different kinds of goals at the same time. Completing attempts and making evolutions are separate recorded activities, so check both relevant results afterward rather than assuming they progress identically.
Later collection milestones can make a broad League useful even when you prefer a small set of familiar partners. For example, Eevee lists: Have 15 members in your League. Play with 10 different Pokémon. The tracker shows those conditions together so you can see whether the collection milestone, the variety requirement or both still need attention. It does not hide one requirement behind an overall percentage.
Some of this play may also overlap with achievement rewards. Use the PokéBonk Stardust checklist to note that overlap, while keeping reward completion separate from partner ownership. A session that advances your collection and earns a reward may be appealing, but the tools do not promise that all apparently related goals will trigger in the same mode or attempt.
Plan legendary goals as a set of prerequisites
Mewtwo currently lists 3 conditions: Have 60 members in your League. Capture Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. Win the Rocky Desert on Hard. Those sentences are the source-backed requirements retained in this snapshot. Treat each as its own prerequisite rather than looking only at the collection total. A large League alone is not evidence that every other condition has been satisfied.
The PokéBonk Mewtwo and legendary guide provides a focused place to examine the named partners and related goals. Keep this tracker open as the checklist for your own progress. When a condition asks for captures, use the game’s confirmed capture state rather than assuming a defeated encounter or an achievement popup represents the same outcome.
Mew has a different extracted condition: Capture the other 78 League members. This makes it a collection goal, not a reason to substitute Mewtwo’s prerequisites or a speculative secret code. The listed conditions can change with a patch, so a versioned screenshot of the card is more useful than an old unversioned unlock claim.
Do not use rarity alone as a measure of the time you should invest. A legendary may be your preferred long-term objective, while a partner with a different role could make the next practical session more comfortable. The card includes the passive and move pool so you can inspect the intended play style before committing to the unlock route. If a prerequisite attempt keeps ending early, compare a focused purchase in the PokéBonk Lab upgrades calculator with the benefit of simply choosing a different immediate goal.
Match map and mode conditions before the attempt
Search the tracker by a map name to collect location-specific goals. The PokéBonk maps guide provides the surrounding context for regions and guardians, while the card retains the exact unlock condition. If the text names a difficulty, a guardian or a specific encounter, satisfying a different objective on the same map should not be recorded as equivalent without confirmation from the game.
The PokéBonk game modes guide is the next stop when a requirement depends on how the run is configured. Set that context before comparing the result with the target. A long attempt can be enjoyable and still fail the exact eligibility condition, so checking the wording first is usually more valuable than trying to reinterpret it afterward.
For shared sessions, read the PokéBonk multiplayer guide and confirm the particular challenge’s counting behavior in the game. This tracker does not assert that a teammate’s actions count toward your personal requirement, or that every solo condition has identical cooperative behavior. Where the extracted data does not establish that rule, leaving it unclaimed is more useful than sending you into a long attempt on an assumption.
Keep unlocks separate from evolutions and appearances
A League entry describes a selectable partner record, while a Pokédex species record can describe a broader evolution family. This page does not substitute a public Pokédex evolution level for a verified run-time evolution rule. Seeing a later form in the database therefore should not be interpreted as proof that you must unlock another League slot in exactly the same way.
Likewise, a look or shiny appearance does not by itself establish a new partner unlock. Read the PokéBonk shiny and Wardrobe guide for cosmetic systems, then use the League checkbox only for the playable partner you confirmed in the game. This keeps the tracker’s collection count understandable when you start earning multiple appearances for a favorite Pokémon.
Passive and move-pool information on each card is included to help you decide what to try next. It is not a damage simulation or a guarantee that every listed move is available at the start of a run. Open a partner in the PokéBonk build planner to organize a loadout, and verify any unavailable mechanics against the current data status rather than filling the gap with main-series assumptions.
Save progress, share a checklist and recover safely
The tracker saves automatically in this browser. Copy link includes your unlocked markers, entered counters and checked conditions in the address fragment. It can serve as a backup or a way to move your notes to another device. Anyone who receives the link can read that checklist; it does not contain or request credentials for the official game.
Reset clears the local tracker and offers Undo reset while the page remains open. Filters can be cleared separately without touching progress. If browser storage is unavailable, the session still works and a copied link can preserve the state. Clearing browser data, changing profiles or using a different device does not automatically carry your notes across.
This page explains how to unlock Pokémon in PokéBonk using client version 0.8.34, build mvlr7rzv. A saved checklist from another build is normalized to the currently recognized IDs and counters, and the tool asks you to review the requirements. The sources page documents extraction boundaries. Recheck any changed challenge before treating an old completion marker as current evidence.
